Technology for Quality Dental Care
At Canada Place Dental, the technology we use helps to inform treatment planning and make your dental appointments more efficient. We use a variety of technologies including CEREC® same-day restorations, dental lasers, and digital and panoramic x-rays.
CEREC Technology
At Canada Place Dental, our Edmonton dentists use CEREC to create and place ceramic dental restorations in one easy dental appointment. No impressions, no temporaries - just beautiful, tooth-coloured restorations in one visit!
Dental Lasers
At Canada Place Dental, our dentists use lasers in a variety of soft tissue procedures including removing overgrown or decayed tissue and reshaping the gums. Soft tissue lasers allow our dentists to perform these procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions.

iTero 3D Scanner
The iTero 3D scanner takes accurate impressions of your bite to adjust Invisalign treatment in real-time, store data digitally, and display expected results. It can show you an image of your smile on the iTero screen and is used to create custom your custom aligners.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic x-ray film. They produce highly detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic x-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your entire mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures.
